The sixth Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design will be held in November with an array of activities, including exhibitions, workshops, and tours.

Hanoi (VNA) – The sixth Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design will be held in November with an array of activities, including exhibitions, workshops, and tours.

Such activities will take place in Hanoi from November 16-22 and Ho Chi Minh City from November 29 to December 5, heard an event jointly held by the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) and RMIT University Vietnam on October 30.

VICAS Director Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Phuong said with the theme “Re-generation”, the festival focuses on environment, community and space, and culture and heritage. The activities aim to inspire the renewal, restoration, or revitalisation of cultural heritage, both tangible and intangible.

Creative works are hoped to serve as a source of encouragement for the community to preserve green and sustainable spaces, she said, noting the organisers will prioritise those by young people.

The festival is expected to contribute to realising the targets set in the National Strategy on the Development of Cultural Industries./.

Hanoi introduces framework for 2026 Creative Design Festival

Under the announced framework, the 2026 festival will take place from January to November and feature eight groups of activities, ranging from exhibitions, fairs and forums to creative projects, design awards and the development of creative infrastructure.

33rd SEA Games kicks off in Thailand

Vietnamese sports delegation encouraged ahead of SEA Games 33

A total of 28 teams with 552 members have arrived in Thailand, with several squads, including the men’s and women’s football teams, baseball, handball and badminton, already beginning competition as scheduled. An additional 160 athletes, including key teams in athletics, swimming and archery, were due to join the delegation later the same day.
