Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministries ofDefence of Vietnam and France shared experience in operating level-2 fieldhospitals for United Nations peacekeeping missions at a conference in Hanoi onJune 6.

It was the fourth experience exchangebetween the two sides in UN peacekeeping, with France sharing practices inpeacekeeping operations, how to organise a peacekeeping action team and how tooperate a level-2 field hospital.

Addressing the event, Deputy Director of theVietnam Peacekeeping Centre Nguyen Nhu Canh said the conference is important toVietnam with the country preparing to run the field hospital soon.

It is also part of activities to implementthe Vietnam-France technical agreement on defence cooperation in UN peacekeepingoperations signed on November 10 last year, he added.-VNA
