Vietnam joins Super Yosakoi festival in Japan

A dancing group of Vietnam attended the Super Yosakoi 2010 Festival held in Tokyo on August 28-29.

TheSuper Yosakoi festival, one of the biggest Yosakoi festivals in Japan,drew 98 dancing teams with almost 6,000 dancers, including foreigngroups from Vietnam, the Republic of Korea and Ghana.

Vietnam’s Yosakoi dance team said their participation in the event isexpected to contribute to promoting the Vietnam-Japan diplomaticrelations and increasing solidarity and mutual understanding between thetwo peoples, particularly the youths.

“Established in 2008 withinitial name of the Hanoi Super Yosakoi, the Yosakoi – 1,000 years ofHanoi ” team now can develop dances for its performance.

Onthis occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Nguyen Phu Binh met withthe Vietnamese dancers and wished they continue their activities tocontribute to promoting exchanges of culture and increasingpeople-to-people friendship./.

Vietnamese community in Thailand honours cultural, traditional values

2025 Vietnam Culture Festival held in Osaka

Visitors enjoy Thai environment, lifestyle at Hanoi festival

At the Thai Festival, from March 28 night to March 30 morning in Hanoi, visitors explored typical Thai dishes, along with health care and beauty care products and traditional handicrafts. They also enjoyed traditional dances from many regions of Thailand, tried making Khanom Krok coconut cakes and painting patterns on silk, among other activities.

Book week in Hanoi invites children to the wonderland of British tales
