The statement was made by National Defence Minister Gen. Phung Quang Thanh while receiving a delegation from the Kaysone Phomvihane National Defence Academy led by its Director Chansamone Chanyarath in Hanoi on September 22.
He expressed his belief that the visit would help strengthen mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation between the two countries as well as the two armies./.
