Vietnam logs 92 more COVID-19 cases on June 7 morning

Vietnam confirmed 92 more COVID-19 cases in the past six hours to 12pm on June 7, including 68 infections in Bac Giang, 14 in Ho Chi Minh City, seven in Lang Son, two in Ha Tinh and one in Hanoi, reported the Health Ministry.

Hanoi (VNA) –Vietnam confirmed 92 more COVID-19 cases in the past six hours to 12pm on June 7, including 68 infections inBac Giang, 14 in Ho Chi Minh City, seven in Lang Son, two in Ha Tinh and one inHanoi, reported the Health Ministry.

Of them, 84 cases werefound in quarantine facilities or locked down areas.

As of 12pm on June 7,the country recorded a total of 8,883 infection cases, including 7,327 localtransmissions and 1,551 imported. There were 5,757 new cases detected since the fourth COVID-19 outbreak wave hit the country on April 27.

The provinces of YenBai, Quang Ngai, Dong Nai, Nghe An, Quang Ninh, Quang Nam, Quang Tri, ThuaThien-Hue, Dak Lak, Nam Dinh, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Son La and NinhBinh have gone through 14 consecutive days without new infections.

According to theministry’s Medical Service Administration, 3,368 patients have sofar been given the all-clear from the virus SARS-CoV-2, and 53 died from the disease.

Among patients undergoing treatment in medical establishments, 242 tested negative once to SARS-CoV-2, 72twice and 78 thrice.

The ministry called on everyone to follow its 5K message, including khau trang (facemask), khukhuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distance), khong tu tap (no gathering), andkhai bao y te (health declaration) and get vaccinated./.
