The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) has officially opened a bureau in TelAviv, Israel, raising the number of its overseas bureaus to 30.
Together with the Cairo-based bureau in Egypt, the Tel Aviv bureauwill help VNA cover promptly, accurately and objectively the diverselife in the Middle East, which is seen as a hot spot in the world’s newsarena.
Besides, the new office will help betterreflect Vietnam ’s developing relations with Middle East countries at atime when Vietnam is speeding up its international integrationbroadly.
In the recent years, two-way trade betweenVietnam and the Middle East countries increased strongly. Last year,the figure with Israel only reached 439 million USD, up 17 percentfrom 2011.-VNA
