Vietnam, Russia bolster friendship

Hong hailed the guests and said that the visit was in time for Vietnam to celebrate the 65 th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (Sept. 2), stressing that the former Soviet Union and Russia always played important roles in relation to Vietnam.

Glandunov Evgheni Pavlovic praised Vietnam’s achievements in its national renewal process and expressed his hope that the visit would contribute to boosting friendship between the two peoples.

Host and guest expressed beliefs that on the basis of the traditional friendship, relations between Vietnamese and Russian people would continue to be enhanced and would contribute to the comprehensive development of the strategic partnership between the two countries./.
