Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam won the second match at the Davis CupAsia-Pacific Zone, Group III, in Hanoi on April 4.


The hosts defeated Cambodia 3-0 in Pool A at the My Dinh Athletics Complex.

In the first singles match, Trinh Linh Giang trounced Kim Delton 6-0, 6-1. Hissenior teammate Ly Hoang Nam followed with an easy win of 6-1, 6-1 over LongSamneang in the second singles match.

In the game three, duo Pham Minh Tuan and Le Quoc Khanh had no problems beatingDelton and Mam Phalkun 6-1, 6-4.

In their first match on April 3, Vietnam beat Pacific Oceania 2-1.

Their next tie is against Malaysia on April 5.-VNA
