(Photo: VNA) At a working session with the delegation, Governor of Monagas Ernesto Luna committed that the state authorities will establish working groupsto increase contact with the embassy in connecting Vietnameseand Venezuelan businesses and promoting specific cooperation and investmentprojects.
For his part, Duyen lauded Monagas’s achievements in politics, economy, and culture and vowed to foster commercial ties between the two nations in general and between Vietnam and Monagas in particular based on their traditional solidarity and friendship.
He highlighted his wish to expand Vietnam’s agriculturalcooperation project to Monagas following its success in Guárico state.
During the trip, the embassy held a workshop to promote the trade of key Vietnamese products with the participation of local leadersand about 40 officials and businessmen.
After introducing Vietnam’s socio-economic development achievements after 35 yearsof Doi Moi (Renewal), Duyen said there are abundant opportunities for Venezuelanconsumers to use Vietnamese products.
He stressed that as Vietnam is among the biggest woodworkingproduction centres in the world, Venezuela, including Monagas, can export theirtimber to Vietnamese producers.
