Politburo member and standing member of the Secretariat of the Party Central Committee Truong Tan Sang on August 19 received an Angolan delegation led by Secretary of State for Cooperation Exalgina Gamboa on their arrival to Vietnam to attend the 2 nd Vietnam-Africa International Conference (VAIC) in Hanoi.
Exalgina Gamboa spoke highly of Vietnam’s successful hosting of VAIC, and its traditional friendship and cooperation promotion for the mutual benefit of Afican countries in general and Angola in particular.
She also expressed her pleasure at Vietnam’s socio-economic development achievements, considering them as precious experiences for Angola. She affirmed that the Angolan government and people would like to strengthen friendship and cooperation with Vietnam in many areas, especially in healthcare, education, agriculture, poverty reduction and food security.
Truong Tan Sang affirmed that Vietnam attaches much importance to fostering the friendship and comprehensive cooperation with the Angolan government and people, and is ready to share experiences of interests to Angola, for the sake of the two peoples, and for peace and development in Southeast Asia, South Africa and all over the world./.
