Binh made the statement whileanswering reporters’ questions regarding Vietnam ’s reaction afterIsrael and Hamas accepted the US and the United Nation’s proposal on ahumanitarian ceasefire within 72 hours in Gaza .

“We support all current efforts of the international community to earlybring about a comprehensive ceasefire for peace and stability in theregion,” he stated.-VNA

Vietnam, Cambodia step up defence cooperation

Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet said his country values defence cooperation with Vietnam, pledging to support and facilitate Vietnam’s efforts to locate and repatriate the remains of the volunteer soldiers. He also expressed his support for Vietnamese defence enterprises effectively operating in Cambodia.

Brazilian President begins state visit to Vietnam

President Lula da Silva is the first foreign head of state to pay a state visit to Vietnam in 2025. This is also the second time he has visited Vietnam as the head of state, after the first time in 2008.
