The Vietnamese athlete beat Ruberu with a major rule. She led 9-6 in the first bout and 18-9 in the second. Linh extended the lead to 15 points in the third bout, which gave her the victory.
The number of goal medals may change when two athletes, Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat and Le Huu Phuc, fight in the finals on March 26, in the 60kg and 51kg categories, respectively.
Vietnam became an official member of the World Muay Thai Association in the association’s annual congress, organised in line with the Championships on March 25 in Bangkok ./.
