Vietnamese Ambassador to Canada Le Sy Vuong Ha has recently visited Quebec province to promote all-around cooperation between the two countries’ localities.
Quebec authorities highlighted Vietnam’s achievements in economic development and implementing the UN millennium development goals (MDGs).
They said that the Vietnamese diplomat’s visit will facilitate both sides’ discussions on measures to enhance cooperation in education and training, scientific research in sociology, urbanisation and its impacts as well as experiences in waste treatment and insurance for rice farmers.
Ambassador Ha informed the host of Vietnam’s economic development and its fields that are calling for foreign investment, development priorities and external policy.
He proposed that the Quebec authorities assist Vietnamese students in studying with their own expenses in Canada./.
