Hanoi (VNA) - Nguyen CongChung, Executive Chef at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel, has been named as ChefHotelier of The Year at the Hotelier Awards 2017 - Asia.
Chung, the first Vietnamese to secure thepost of executive chef at an international 5-star hotel, has worked in theindustry for 22 years.
Beginning in 2014, the annual HotelierAwards honours professionals of the Asian hotel industry.
In 2017, the event attracted submissionsfrom 70 hotel brands in 14 countries.-VNA
