Popular United Kingdom-based Vietnamese model and entrepreneur Jessica Minh Anh will present her historic 10th show inside the award-winning solar power plant Gemasolar in Seville, Spain, on July 17.

Unlike Minh Anh's previous fashion shows at the Eiffel Tower, London's Tower Bridge, the Grand Canyon Skywalk and the One World Trade Centre, the "J Summer Fashion Show 2015" will not only showcase a combination of art, architecture, culture and fashion, but will also celebrate the best of advanced technology and environmental conservation.

Set against the cinematic backdrop of the famous central tower and thousands of cutting-edge mirrors, the sunshine catwalk is expected to redefine modern fashion standards.

The "J Summer Fashion Show 2015" will premiere six fashion and jewellery collections from Europe and Asia, such as from Turkish jewellery brand EKRIA and Spain's Paloma Sanchez.

The show will present designs by Pakistani haute couture designer Syeda Amera and Seville's designer Pilar Vera.

Vera said, "Jessica Minh Anh embodies fluid movements, class and elegance, which resonate in my collection. I look forward to her leading other models down the catwalk in my signature multi-layered doll-like red dress."

HCM City-based Vietnamese designer Hoang Hai will premiere an alluring collection made of the finest materials, and decorated with lace, brocade, Italian tulle and Swarovski crystals.

The show will be filmed using the latest drone technology. This will allow the sun's effect on the engineering marvel and the exquisite fashion collections to be artistically highlighted.

"It is an honour for Torresol Energy to have Jessica Minh Anh transform Gemasolar into the first-ever solar-powered catwalk," Raul Mendoza Ruiz, Gemasolar Plant manager, Torresol Energy, said. "Gemasolar is part of the next-generation power plants and represents the future, just as Jessica does in fashion. We find it very meaningful that Jessica has chosen such an ecological scenario for the show. It speaks about her belief in green power."

In March this year, Minh Anh presented New York in a new light by transforming Hudson River's one and only glass boat into an iconic floating catwalk. Guests were seated facing the multi-faceted glass window and watched models walk as if they were walking on water.

New York's famous skyline as well as its architectural wonders such as the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building and the One World Trade Centre became a natural backdrop for the iconic catwalk.

In previous years, Minh Anh amazed the world with her shows at Paris's Eiffel Tower, New York's One World Trade Centre, Singapore's Gardens by the Bay and Arizona's Grand Canyon, as well as Dubai's floating museum of contemporary Italian art, the Costa Atlantica, Kuala Lumpur's Petronas twin towers and London's Tower Bridge.-VNA
