Vietnamese officer greets Lao guest

At the reception, Lieut. Gen. Cuong applauded the delegation’s visitto Vietnam, saying that the Vietnamese army and people are alwaysgrateful for the valuable sentiments of the Lao Party, State and peoplefor Vietnam during the wartime and in the national building anddefence period at present.

Cuong reviewed theeffective cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in the fields ofdefence and in party and political works, adding that the delegation’svisit importantly contributed to strengthening the longlastingtraditional friendship between the two people and armies.

Subun Hunnachampa said the visit is a good chance for the Laodelegation to share experience in military training, army logistics andparty and political works with agencies of VPA.

Onthe same day, the delegation also met with Sen. Lieut. Gen Do Ba Ty,Politburo Member and Chief of the General Staff of VPA and visited HanoiHigh Command./.
