
During a working session inNakhon Pathom on August 18 within the framework of PM Phuc’s official visit toThailand, the Vietnamese PM shared his sympathy with Witdamrong over losses causedby recent floods in the province, believing that local residents will soonovercome difficulties and settle down their lives.
He thanked the provincial administrationfor creating favourable conditions for 10,000 Vietnamese nationals to stabilisetheir lives in the province as well as for the building of a memorial site dedicatedto late President Ho Chi Minh.
Witdamrong, for his part,affirmed that the provincial authorities will always create favourableconditions for Vietnamese-Thai people residing and doing business in NakhonPathom.
The host said Nakhon Pathom isworking closely with Vietnam’s central localities, including forming twinningrelations with Ha Tinh province.
He pledged to preserve and promote tourism at common heritagesof the Thai and Vietnamese people such as the Friendship Village, the NakhonPathom – Hanoi Vietnamese language teaching centre and Clock Tower.-VNA
