Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung made a tour of Luang Namtha and Oudomxay provinces, northern Laos , during his visit to the neighbouring country from Jan. 12-13.
Deputy PM Hung attended an inaugural ceremony of the Luang Namtha friendship culture palace. The project presented by the Vietnamese northern province of Vinh Phuc was built at nearly 1 million USD.
While in Oudomsay province, Deputy PM Hung burnt incense at the Laos-Vietnam combating alliance monument, visited and presented gifts to the Vietnamese government-funded ethnic boarding school.
Deputy PM Hung said Vietnam has constantly enhanced cooperative ties in all areas with Laos.
He stressed the two countries’ future priorities will be given to bilateral cooperation projects, especially on education and investment./.
