Viettel Deputy General Director Hoang Son briefed the guests on the establishment and development of the group, and stressed the Vietnamese telecommunications service provider has to date expanded its investment to 10 countries.
In addition to making profits from investment in foreign markets, Viettel also pays attention to donating money to support the education and training sectors of its partner countries, aiding their poverty reduction work, the official added.
He also revealed his group will further boost investment in other regional countries and seek investment opportunities in Europe in the coming time.
The Viettel representative answered questions on the application and development of telecommunications technologies, overseas investment and the group’s business strategies.-VNA
