VN Ambassador to Armenia presents credentials

Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Xuan Son to Russia and the Republic of Armenia on Nov. 10 presented his credentials to the Republic of Armenia ’s President Serzh Sargsyan in Armenia ’s capital city of Yerevan.

Speaking at the ceremony, PresidentSargsyan spoke highly of the achievements that Vietnam made in theprocess of national renewal and its active role in solving the regionaland international issues.

He said the traditionalfriendship between Vietnam and Armenia creates good conditions forthe two countries to strengthen multifaceted cooperative ties, with theaim of bringing mutual benefit.

The President saidthat the two sides should further promote political dialogue at alllevels, speeding up cooperation in the field of economics, trade,education and training, tourism and culture.

SerzhSargsyan stressed his planned visit to Vietnam in 2012 on the occasionof the 20 th anniversary of Vietnam-Armenia diplomatic ties will be adriving force to foster bilateral cooperation.

Onthis occasion, Ambassador Pham Xuan Son also met with Prime MinisterTigran Sarkisyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Edvard Nalbandyan ofArmenia./.
