The Ministry of Investment and Planning , Vietnam News Agency andthe Ministry of Foreign Affairs have committed to participation in aprogramme on raising community awareness of Vietnam-Laos economiccooperation and environmental conservation.
Theprogramme is being jointly conducted by the Vietnam Association forConservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) and theVietnam-Laos-Cambodia Association for Economic Cooperation Development(VILACAED) in collaboration with agencies and localities to mark the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Laos diplomatic ties establishment andpromote the traditional and special friendship between the twocountries.
Minister of Investment and Planning BuiQuang Vinh said that the programme, which will take place in Vietnam’scentral city of Vinh and Laos’ capital city of Vientiane, will create agood chance for the two countries’ businesses and peoples to raiseawareness, exchange experiences and strengthen investment cooperationand environmental conservation, contributing to promoting economiccooperation and sustainable development of both countries.
He also expressed hope that the two countries’ offices, socialorganisations and business communities will pay attention to theprogramme.
Vietnam News Agency affirmed that it will cooperate closely with VACNE and promote information about the new programme.-VNA
