VNA 80 years on: Always remembering President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings and guidance
On September 15, 1945, the Viet Nam News Agency – a name penned by President Ho Chi Minh himself – broadcast the full text of the Declaration of Independence along with the list of the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam in three languages: Vietnamese, English, and French. That sacred moment has since become the traditional day of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA). Over the past 80 years, VNA’s development has been profoundly shaped by Uncle Ho’s teachings, the news items bearing his edits, and the tireless efforts of generations of its staff.
