The President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations (VUFO), Vu Xuan Hong received a delegation of the India Vietnam Solidarity Committee of West-Bengal state led by its President Geetesh Sharman in Hanoi on May 21.
At the reception, Sharman presented the VUFO with valuable items, including pictures of late President Ho Chi Minh during his visit to Kolkata city in 1946, a poem he wrote for Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and a collection of poems of Nguyen Trai and Ho Chi Minh published in India .
For his part, Hong thanked the goodwill of the Indian friends and said these items would be put on display for Vietnamese people and international friends to see.-VNA
