Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army Sen. Lt. Gen. Pham Ngoc Minh had a meeting with Lt. Gen. Tin Maung Win, Chief of Staff of the Bureau of Air Defence of Myanmar, in Hanoi on April 5.
The visit to Vietnam from April 19-20 by Myanmar State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi is expected to strengthen bilateral ties and tighten the Vietnam-Myanmar comprehensive cooperative partnership.
Myanmar State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi began her two-day official visit to Vietnam on April 19 at the invitation of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
