White House: Leaders have constructive meeting

Spokesperson of the White House Sarah Sanders announced on February 28 that US President Donald Trump and leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un had a very good and constructive meeting in the past two days.

Hanoi (VNA) – Spokesperson of the White HouseSarah Sanders announced on February 28 that US President Donald Trump andleader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong-un had avery good and constructive meeting in the past two days.

In a statement delivered inHanoi, Sanders said the two leaders discussed ways to advance denuclearisationand economic development concepts.

Though no agreement wasreached at this DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam and no joint statement issued, thesides look forward to meeting in the future, she said.

Earlier in Hanoi, the twoleaders unexpectedly concluded negotiations earlier than schedule and leftSofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel for Marriot and Melia hotels.
