At the talks, Minister Son and Noeleen Heyzer, Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General, shared their concerns about the unstable situation in Myanmar.

They agreed that the urgent priority is to end the violence, increase humanitarian assistance to the people of Myanmar, and it is necessary to promote dialogue and build trust among parties, in order to find a peaceful, comprehensive and sustainable solution for the country.

There should be a comprehensive, firm, and unhurried approach, Minister Son said, adding that all solutions need to put the people at the center./.
