50 years of national reunification: modern and civilised urban areas in Ho Chi Minh City

Over the past 50 years of construction and development since the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025), Ho Chi Minh City has seen the emergence of numerous modern and civilised urban areas. These developments not only enhance the city's appearance but also improve residents’ quality of life. They reinforce the city’s position as a special urban centre and a leading hub for the economy, culture, education and training, and science and technology in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
