Another A/H1N1 flu patient died in Ho Chi Minh City, announced the municipal Department of Health on Sept. 8, but the Health Ministry has yet to confirm the case.

If confirmed, it will be the third death in HCM City and the fourth in Vietnam since A/H1N1 flu broke out on May 31.

The patient, a 51-year-old man living in Binh Chanh district, also suffered from kidney failure, cardio-vascular diseases and diabetes.

On the same day, the city also discovered one new H1N1 flu cluster, at Hiep Binh High School in Thu Duc district.

To date, Vietnam has counted 3,950 cases of A/H1N1 influenza and 3,249 have been discharged from hospitals./.
