The southern province of Binh Phuoc held a groundbreaking ceremony onMar. 29 at Hoang Dieu border gate to start construction of Song Mangbridge, linking the province and Cambodia’s eastern province ofMondulkiri.
With a total cost of 11.94 billion VND, the bridge has a length of 27.3m and a width of 12m.
According to provincial leaders, Song Mang bridge project shows thesolidarity and friendship between Vietnamese and Cambodian peoples. Thebridge will play an important role in transportation, trade and culturalexchange, creating strong motivation to improve socio-economicdevelopment for Binh Phuoc and Mondulkiri provinces.
The project will be complete in nearly six months.-VNA
