Cement plant uses highest rate of domestic equipment

The Quang Son Cement Plant, which was built using mostly locally-made equipment has begun to operate in Dong Hy district in the northern central province of Thai Nguyen.
The Quang Son Cement Plant, which wasbuilt using mostly locally-made equipment has begun to operate in DongHy district in the northern central province of Thai Nguyen.

The local content of 73 percent of its production line is the highest among plants of its kind in the country so far.

On addressing the inauguration ceremony on Dec. 25, Deputy PrimeMinister Hoang Trung Hai praised the efforts made by the VietnamIndustrial Construction Corporation’s (VINAINCON) staff in finishingthe project. The plant, which has a total capital investment of over3.5 trillion VND (over 190 million USD), is designed to produce 1.51million tonnes per year.

It began test runs in November 2009 and now the plant is operatingsmoothly and efficiently and produces high-quality products.

It is providing jobs for over 700 local workers./.

PM Chinh requested the Government Inspectorate to promptly identify localities that lack determination or fail to handle violations thoroughly, including cases where vessels not meeting legal requirements are still allowed to leave ports, and to clarify responsibilities and impose sanctions without delay.

C.P. Vietnam exports first processed chicken batch to Singapore

The CPV Food Binh Phuoc plant operates a closed-loop system and holds international certifications, including HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000, and Halal. Before reaching Singapore, the company’s processed chicken was already exported to Japan, Hong Kong (China), Cambodia, and Laos, with Japan alone importing 10,000 tonnes by November 2025.
