As part of the seventh Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival, Dak Lak province held the Central Highlands Culinary Competition on March 13.

 

 

 

The contest attracted restaurants, hotels, tourism firms and catering companies from the five provinces of the Central Highlands. The theme of the contest is the cuisine of ethnic people in the Central Highlands and participants were encouraged to use coffee in their dishes.

The contest brought a lively, exciting atmosphere and dishes that show the diverse and rich culture of Ede, Jai, M'nong and Ba Na ethnic people.

The contest was an opportunity for participants and artisans to portray captivating, locally-made dishes that embody the bold features of the Central Highlands.

Through the contest, the unique culinary culture of the Central Highlands cuisine was promoted.

The dishes at the contest were based on local specialities. They were prepared in both traditional and new way.-VNA
