Vietnam Comic Day 2015 will be organised in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi on August 30 and September 6, respectively.

The invited guests, ranging from comic book authors to script writers and historians, will share with the audience interesting information about the process of creating art, sideline stories and their future plans for their works.

The festival, the first of its kind in the country, will also have workshops in which three influential persons from Vietnam's world of comics – Nguyen Khanh Duong, Nguyen Ngoc Thach and Hoang Anh Tuan – will talk about the development of comics in the country over the past decades.-VNA
