Hanoi (VNA) – A conference on Vietnam has been held at the National University in San Salvador city, El Salvador, by the El Salvador – Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Attendees included Blanca Flor Bonilla, Deputy Head of the External Affairs Commission of the ruling Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front (FMNL) party, MP Manuel Flores, and Cuba’s ambassador to El Salvador Pedro Pablo Prada Quintero.
Salvadoran speakers like Dr. Angel Ibarra, MP Manuel Flores, economist Beat Smith presented reports on Vietnam, focusing on analysing history, politics, and society and the country’s various achievements in the reform process.
According to Salvador Orellana, Coordinator of the Vietnam-El Salvador Parliamentary Friendship Group and a member of the FMNL, El Salvador will hold similar events on Vietnam in the provinces of San Vicente, Morazan and Chalatenango.-VNA
