Congratulations to Myanmar Speaker of House of Representatives

Chairwoman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on March 23 sent a message of congratulations to U T Khun Myat on his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives (Pyithu Hluttaw) of Myanmar.

Hanoi (VNA) – Chairwoman of the Vietnamese National AssemblyNguyen Thi Kim Ngan on March 23 sent a message of congratulations to U T KhunMyat on his election as Speaker of the House of Representatives (PyithuHluttaw) of Myanmar.

U T Khun Myat, who previously served as deputy speaker of the lowerhouse, was elected to the post at a meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on March 22.

The election came after Speaker of the House of Representatives U WinMyint stepped down on March 21 after two years holding the position.-VNA
