As many as 920 entries from all parts of the country have been sent to a poster contest, with four designs used in promoting the 11 th National Party Congress which opened in Hanoi on January 12.
The contest award ceremony was held in Hanoi on the same day in celebration of the event which after eight days will announce the leadership of the ruling Communist Party of Vietnam for the next five-year term.
The poster contest, launched on June 4 last year by the Grassroots Cultural Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, has seen the selection of 16 works for awards, with first prize going to a Hanoian, Do Trung Kien./.
