With the overarching motto of placing people at the centre, these achievements have been reflected in the increased living standards of the people and the successful eradication of hunger and poverty, earning global admiration, and the country confidently enters a new era of its rise in 2025, the diplomat said.

Regarding the Vietnam – Russsia relations, Khoi suggested that new drivers for expanding the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Russia in the new era should be identified, while maintaining key pillars of the 75-year traditional relationship in areas such as security - defence, diplomacy, and oil and gas.

The Vietnamese community in Russia should be encouraged to integrate more effectively into the host society, he added.

Meanwhile, Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Ly Duc Trung said under the leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese people have overcome many challenges and achieved great victories in the national defence and construction.

A video highlighting Vietnam's achievements in socio-economic development, national security and defence, and foreign affairs in recent years under the leadership of the CPV was screened at the event.

With many positive economic growth indicators at the end of 2024, Vietnam is confidently stepping into 2025, heading toward a new era of prosperity and development.

Representatives from Israeli businesses said they believe that they will explore many opportunities for business cooperation in Vietnam thanks to the country’s policies for technology development and innovation, and its strengths for exports and foreign investment.

Addressing the celebration in Rome, Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Duong Hai Hung stated that over the past 95 years, the CPV has fulfilled its mission, role, and historical position, steering Vietnam through many challenges to achieve numerous remarkable accomplishments.

Under the core leadership of General Secretary To Lam, the CPV is determined to implement major policies on innovation, scientific and technological development, digital transformation, and streamlining the political apparatus, the diplomat stressed, adding that the country has a solid foundation to enter a new era of prosperity and development, becoming a high-income developed country by 2045.

Italian delegates all shared the view that Vietnam is truly on the threshold of a new era of progress, marked by a clear and ambitious vision.

The CPV has demonstrated its ability to overcome major challenges in the past, and with determination and strategic vision, the Southeast Asian nation can completely realise its goals in the coming time, towards a prosperous, civilised future with national pride, they went on./.
