– Leaders of political parties and nations worldwide continue to send congratulatory messages to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and its General Secretary To Lam on the occasion of the CPV’s 95th anniversary (February 3, 1930–2025).

Chairman of the United Russia Party (URP) Dmitry Medvedev stated in his message that the founder - President Ho Chi Minh – the eminent leader of the national liberation movement, the CPV was pivotal in securing the country’s independence and national reunification. Today, it remains the leading force in safeguarding Vietnam’s sovereignty and security while ensuring the happiness and prosperity of its people. Read full story

– A conference was held on February 3 to announce the Politburo's decisions on the establishment of four new Party organisations under the CPV Central Committee, as well as on the functions, tasks, authority, organisational apparatuses, and working relations of three Party bodies at the central level.

– Party General Secretary To Lam visited the private residence of late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong on February 3 to offer incense in tribute, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and the CPV’s 95th anniversary (February 3, 1930–2025).

Later the same day, General Secretary To Lam visited and extended Lunar New Year greetings to Lieutenant General Dang Quan Thuy, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former member of the CPV Central Committee, and former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA). Read full story

– The Government hosted a cordial gathering on February 3 in celebration of the CPV’s 95th anniversary (February 3, 1930–2025) and the traditional Lunar New Year.

Attending the event were Party General Secretary To Lam, State President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man, former PM Nguyen Tan Dung, and former NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, along with current and former members of the Party, State, Government, NA, Vietnam Fatherland Front, and various ministries and agencies. – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called on ministries and sectors to promptly and effectively implement coordinated measures to stimulate production and business activities, generate employment and livelihoods and achieve an economic growth target of at least 8% in 2025.

– NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man extended his best New Year wishes to officials and staff of the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) during a working session in Hanoi on February 3 on the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lunar New Year.

He commended the SAV's active contribution to the NA's approval of state budget estimates and finalisation, saying that the SAV's reports have proved instrumental in supporting the NA's supervisory activities, as well as those of its Standing Committee and supervision delegations. Read full story

– A new book authored by Party General Secretary To Lam was unveiled at a ceremony in Hanoi on February 3, shining a spotlight on the dignity of Vietnam's revolutionary public security officers.

The 766-page book, presented in a 24cm x 16cm format, features a foreword by the People's Public Security Publishing House and 80 carefully selected articles, speeches and interviews drawn from over 500 writings by General Secretary Lam. Read full story

– Domestic airports served almost 3.6 million passengers during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday from January 24 to February 2, up 16% over the same period last year, reported the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).

Notably, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City served approximately 1.38 million passengers while Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi processed around 900,000 passengers, and Da Nang International Airport in central Da Nang city handled over 381,000 passengers, respectively rising 7.6%, 12%, and 26%. State leader meets with staff of Presidential Office

Emphasising that 2025 is a year of acceleration and breakthrough to achieve the targets outlined in the 13th National Party Congress's Congress, as well as the nation’s five-year and ten-year socio-economic development plans, President Cuong stressed the need for the Presidential Office to ensure higher operational efficiency after the organisational streamlining.
