Nations send congratulations on 95th anniversary of Communist Party of Vietnam

More congratulations from leaders of political parties and nations worldwide continue flowing in for the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and its General Secretary To Lam on the occasion of the CPV’s 95th anniversary (February 3, 1930 – 2025).

Hanoi (VNA) – Leaders of political parties and nations worldwide continue to send congratulatory messages to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and its General Secretary To Lam on the occasion of the CPV’s 95th anniversary (February 3, 1930 – 2025).

Chairman of the United Russia Party (URP) Dmitry Medvedev stated that the founder - President Ho Chi Minh – the eminent leader of the national liberation movement, the CPV was pivotal in securing the country’s independence and national unification. Today, it remains the leading force in safeguarding Vietnam’s sovereignty and security while ensuring the happiness and prosperity of its people.

Chairman of A Just Russia - Patriots - For Truth (SR) party Sergey Mironov noted that the history of Vietnam’s victories and remarkable achievements are inseparable from the CPV. Under its leadership, Vietnam is confidently building a just and progressive society, obtaining significant milestones in economy, science, and culture.

First Secretary of the Communist Party of Belarus Sergei Syrankov assessed that under the CPV’s leadership, Vietnam has made great strides in economic development, social welfare, and strengthening its global influence. The Party’s political credibility at home and abroad will continue to contribute to the nation’s prosperity.

Chairman of the Belarusian Party “Belaya Rus” Romanov Oleg, meanwhile, took the occasion to praise Vietnam’s foreign policy. He said the CPV is now a formidable political force with immense international prestige. Vietnam's diplomatic approach plays an essential role in maintaining regional peace and stability, with its Party remaining steadfast in fostering dynamic and constructive international relations.

Chairman of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) Chung Eui-yong wrote that Vietnam has emerged as a key economic player, sharing benefits with regional partners. The CPV’s active participation in the ICAPP has significantly enhanced political understanding and cooperation among parties in the region, he underscored.

Additional congratulatory messages were sent by head of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) and President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega; General Secretary of Morocco's Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS) Mohammed Nabil Benabdallah; Communist Party of Canada leader Elizabeth Rowley; as well as by the Communist Party of Greece; the Galician People's Union of Spain; and the Central Committee of the Progressive Party of the Working People of Cyprus. These messages recognise the CPV’s founding, leadership, and enduring contributions to Vietnam’s growth and international stature./.

Vietnamese naval ship completes mission at Kakadu Exercise 2026

Ship 016–Quang Trung of Brigade 162 under Naval Region 4 departed Sydney Harbour on the morning of March 25 for home after successfully completing activities within the framework of the Exercise Kakadu Fleet Review 2026 marking the 125th anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy and the multilateral naval exercise Kakadu 2026.

95th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union marked in Laos
