Hanoi (VNA) – Defence Minister Gen. Ngo Xuan Lich received in Hanoion April 19 Deputy Defence Minister of Kazakhstan Lieut. Gen. Talgat SabitovichMukhtarov.

Minister Lich welcomed the current Vietnam visit by Deputy Defence Minister Mukhtarovand the defence ministry delegation of Kazakhstan, saying that it contributes tostrengthening understanding between the two armies and people of the two countries.

Deputy Defence Minister Mukhtarov briefed the host on outcomes of the talks betweenhis delegation and the Vietnamese counterpart led by Deputy Defence Minister Sen.Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh.

He said he wished in the coming time, the two defence ministries will have morepractical cooperation activities, especially in the fields of training, defenceindustry, United Nations peacekeeping, that suit to each side’s demand and ability.-VNA
