A photo exhibition has been opened at Hanoi’s Temple of Literature to introduce 200 photos from a contest on the theme of the homeland’s seas and islands.
A photo exhibition has been opened at Hanoi’s Temple of Literature to introduce 200 photos from a contest on the theme of the homeland’s seas and islands.
The contest, launched in June last year, received nearly 5,300 single photos and photo collections from 900 authors across the nation.
Over 200 high quality art works entered the final round, giving viewers a deep impression of the beautiful landscape and the beauty of the inhabitants, and the silent sacrifice of soldiers in protecting the country’s sovereignty and peace.
Two first, three second, three third and 10 consolation prizes were presented at the event.
The exhibition featuring 200 photo finalists takes place until November 23.-VNA
