Vietnam expects to earn more than 212 billion USD from exports this year, much higher than 176 billion USD last year, said head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT)’s Planning Department.
The Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang earned 470 million USD from exports in 2017, surpassing its target by 17.5 percent, up 43 percent year on year.
Vietnam’s exports of fruits and vegetables hit 3.34 billion USD as by December 15, a surge of 45 percent year on year, surpassing 2016’s revenue of 2.457 billion USD.
