First regional job centre opens

A job centre for the southeast region, the first of its kind in Vietnam, was opened on April 10 by the Dong Nai provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
A job centre for the southeast region, the first of its kind in Vietnam,was opened on April 10 by the Dong Nai provincial Department of Labour,Invalids and Social Affairs.

Covering an area of69,000 square metres in Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province, the centre issituated near large industrial zones such as Amata, Bien Hoa I, Bien HoaII and Loteco.

The centre, funded with 150 billion VND from theMinistry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, is able to serve around200 businesses and more than 5,000 labourers at a time.

Inaddition to finding employment for labourers in Dong Nai province, thecentre will serve recruitment in the whole southeast region and theCentral Highlands.

According to Deputy Minister ofLabour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thanh Hoa, there are threeother regional job centres in the country currently under construction.-VNA
