Dozens of businesses from the Republic of Korea (RoK) and the UShave visited Ho Chi Minh City to seek business and investmentopportunities.
The delegation from the RoK city ofYongin comprises of businesses specialising in manufacturing andtrading IT products, machinery, equipment, transport and chemicals.
On Nov. 25, the Ho Chi Minh City branch of the Vietnam Chamber ofCommerce and Industry (VCCI) held a “Vietnam-RoK Trade Exchange” for theRoK visitors to meet with local firms.
Earlier, 30businessmen from San Francisco , USA , who are operating in the fieldsof construction, textile and garment, energy and healthcare alsoparticipated in a trade exchange with Ho Chi Minh City enterprises.
Organised by the Investment and Trade PromotionCentre (ITPC) in Ho Chi Minh City , the event aimed to help Vietnamesebusinesses get more information and seek partners in the US market.
A representative of ITPC said the centre willcontinue to hold trade exchanges for domestic and foreign firms in orderto promote business cooperation and exports./.
