Nearly 100 children with harelip and cleft palate in central provincesare being provided with free check-ups and operations at the HueOdonto Maxillofacial Hospital from May 9-13.
According to the hospital’s Director Le Quy Thao, the programme wouldoffer free surgery for harelipped patients who are six months oldupwards and weigh at least 8 kilogrammes, and for children with cleftpalate at the ages of 18 months old upwards and at least 12 kilogrammesin weight
The programme is jointly held by the HueOdonto Maxillofacial Hospital , Operation Smiles Vietnam andAsia-Pacific Securities Joint Stock Co. (APEC Securities)./.
