HCM City to host international music festival
Ho Chi Minh City will host an international music festival from December 13-15 on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street in District 1 in an effort to develop its cultural industry.
The festival Hozo 2019 is part of Ho Chi Minh City’s strategic investment plan to develop the city’s cultural industry. The city is aiming to become new destination for artists and music lovers.
A variety of performances will be offered, from jazz and pop to traditional music. The lineup includes artists from France, Japan, Australia, Greece and Cuba, among others.
Locals will be able to enjoy music as well as exhibitions and food fairs at the festival.
Two seminars on world music trends and the country’s music industry under the impacts of the fourth industry and international integration will also be held./.
