As many as 150 businesses are showcasing products recognised as high-quality Vietnamese goods by consumers at an ongoing fair in the southern province of Dong Nai.

Opened in Sept. 1, the week-long fair, the second of its kind held in Dong Nai province, features a wide range of products, including household utensils, food, building materials, interior decorations, garments, handicrafts, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

During the fair, the Ho Chi Minh City Worker Support Fund (WSF) will organise a market-day for around 10,000 workers in the province’s industrial zones.

Other activities will include a contest for the top-selling team at the fair, health care and consultancy programmes for customers, as well as circus and music shows.

The fair is expected to offer an opportunity for businesses to build their trademarks and encourage consumers to use domestically-made products.

The fair is jointly organised by the Buying Support Agency (BSA), Saigon Marketing newspaper, the Viet Goods Corp. (VietGoods) and the Trade Promotion Centre under the Dong Nai Department of Trade and Industry./.
