India, Singapore enhance strategic partnership

Indian Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Shri V. Muraleedharan had a virtual meeting with Singapore’s Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sim Ann on June 17, during which they discussed measures to boost bilateral strategic partnership.

New Delhi (VNA) – Indian Minister of State for External Affairs andParliamentary Affairs Shri V. Muraleedharan had a virtual meeting withSingapore’s Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sim Ann on June 17,during which they discussed measures to boost bilateral strategic partnership.

Muraleedharan thanked the Singaporean Government forfacilitating supply of relief materials, especially oxygen tanks, which weresent to India for fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Both officials reviewed India-Singapore bilateralrelationship, spanning across a wide range of areas.

They also discussed cooperation on regional issues and atmultilateral forums. They expressed a commitment to further strengthening the India-SingaporeStrategic Partnership.

Singapore and more than 80 other countries have presentedand provided medical supplies to help India fight the pandemic./.
