Indian newly-appointed Ambassador Ranjit Rae has vowed to accelerate thestrategic partnership between India and Vietnam during his term ofoffice in Vietnam.

Ambassador Ranjit Rae made the commitment at a meeting with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in Hanoi on October 1.

Heexpressed his honour to take the office in Vietnam, affirming tofocus on the fully implementation of agreements signed by the twocountries’ leaders.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung affirmed theVietnamese government, ministries and departments will create favourableconditions for the ambassador to fulfill his mission.

Heexpressed his belief that Ambassador Ranjit Rae will promote bilateralcooperation in all fields, especially economics, trade, investment andeducation-training.

Vietnam and India treasure long-lastingtraditional ties, the PM said, adding the government and people ofVietnam wants to join with India ’s efforts to boost strategicpartnership, contributing to peace, stability and development in theregion and the world./.
