Jakarta (VNA) – A Landslide struck Brebes district of Central Java province in western Indonesia on February 22, leaving 11 people missing and 14 others wounded.

According to a government official, the disaster took place in Pasir Panjang village when the victims were working in their farmland near a hill.

14 people have been rescued but they suffered from injuries. They have been rushed to a nearby health clinic for treatment.

Search and rescue forces are trying to search for the missing persons.-VNA
