Hanoi (VNA) Indonesia’s anti-terror force on May 16 arrested three suspects in the outskirt of the capital city of Jakarta after a series of suicide attacks in recent days killed 32 people.

Two men and one woman were separately captured at two different locations, Kunciran Induk and Kunciran Indah villages, Tanggerang town’s Police Chief Harry Kurniawan said.

During the raid, the police seized a flag of the Islamic State (IS) and many weapons, Kurniawan was quoted by local media as saying.

The IS conceded that it involved in a series of attacks in three churches on May 13 in Surabaya city, the provincial capital of East Java and a suicide bombing in the police headquarters in the city on May 14, and a sword-wielding assault in the police headquarters in Riau province on May 16.

The attacks totally killed 32 people and injured dozens of others.-VNA
